About our concrete contractor team in Vallejo
How I got into concrete
I grew up on a family farm where anything that broke got fixed by us, and pouring a pad or patching the barn floor was just part of the week. I learned the trade on concrete crews around the Bay Area, and in 2017 I started Precision Vallejo Concrete here in Vallejo, out on the north edge of the Bay. Most of our calls come from homeowners, along with property owners planning walls, lots and foundations, and you'll find the full list of what we pour on our home page.
What I care about most is the work nobody sees once it's done. The digging, the packing and the curing, which is the wait while fresh concrete hardens before you use it, decide how a slab holds up, because a fence post set in loose dirt leans by spring and concrete on a soft base settles the same way. Concrete also cracks, and I'd rather tell you that up front and show you how we control it than let it surprise you later.
Our license, insurance and permits
Licensed and insured
Licensed and insured. You can ask about it at the estimate, so you know who's working at your house before the first shovel goes in.
Permits checked before we start
Each city handles permits its own way, so we check with that city's building office before we start, and in Vallejo the place for permit questions is the Central Permit Center listed on the City of Vallejo website. When your job needs a permit, we can take care of the paperwork and plan our work around the city's inspections.
Serving Vallejo Since 2017
What it's like to work with us
You'll know what each step is for
I walk your job with you and explain what each step does, from packing the subgrade, the ground your slab sits on, to cutting control joints, the grooves that give cracks a straight place to go. I'd rather hear too many questions than too few, because a job you understand is a job you can judge.
The person at your estimate runs your pour
I come out to look at every job myself, write up the estimate and stay on site running our crew while the work gets done. That way nothing you told me in your driveway gets lost on the way to the pour.
Your estimate shows what's in it
Estimates are free, done on site and come with no obligation, and I put it all in writing, down to the digging, hauling and sealing, so you can set ours beside anyone else's and compare fairly. When you're ready, call (707) 310-8309 or send us a request, and we'll reply within one business day.
